What is a Pressure Sensor Transformer?
A pressure sensor transformer is a device that converts the
pressure measurement from a pressure sensor into an electrical
signal that can be used by various electronic devices. It is
typically a small, compact unit that is attached to a pressure
sensor and uses electromagnetic induction to convert the physical
pressure into an electrical signal. This signal can then be
amplified, conditioned, and transmitted to a control system for
further processing and analysis.
How does the Pressure Sensor Transformer convert pressure signals
into electrical signals?
The working principle of a pressure sensor transformer is to use a
converter to convert one form of energy into another, converting
pressure signals into electrical signals. It contains a diaphragm
or membrane that is sensitive to pressure. When the diaphragm is
exposed to pressure, it will deflect, causing a change in the
resistance of the transducer. Then, this resistance change is
converted into an electrical signal through a converter, which can
be transmitted and processed by a transformer.
Transformers amplify and filter electrical signals to ensure
accurate measurement and eliminate any interference or noise. Then,
according to the application, the signal is converted into digital
or analog format for further processing or display.
